Mending and Ironing at the Library
Tired of that one button that is missing on your shirt? Need to get those nasty wrinkles out of your work clothes? If yes, stop down at the library on Saturday, July 30, as our mending and ironing expert will help you fix these problems. They are willing to mend the odd and curious so if it needs fixing do not hesitate to bring it down. All donations will go towards future programs at the library.
Working Warriors Exhibit
Stop by the library from August 1-August 18 to see the Working Warriors Exhibit. A gallery reception will take place on Thursday, August 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Wisconsin Humanities Council is honored to provide this exhibit as part of its Working Lives Project. Exhibit provided courtesy of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum and funded in part by the Wisconsin Humanities Council with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Hey kids, it's that time of the year again! On Saturday, August 6th, Cambria will again be celebrating it's annual Park Days by having a fun-filled parade. Do you want to be in the parade? If yes, stop by the 1st Presbyterian Church at 9:45 a.m. on the 6th with your bike. We need bikers! This is YOUR chance to show off your cool bike in addition to riding in the Cambria Park Days Parade. All participants will receive a $2.00 coupon to be used at the concession stand in the park.
